Dr. Gail Lebovic

Dr. Lebovic is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking work as an Oncoplastic Surgeon, a creative inventor and for her success as a serial entrepreneur. She has committed her career to improving the delivery of healthcare, with a special interest in women’s health. Most of the technologies she developed have been directed towards improving the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Each of her companies has resulted in successful partnerships benefitting patients throughout the world. Dr. Lebovic has been the recipient of numerous awards. In May 2021, she became part of an elite group of graduates awarded the George Washington University Monumental Alumni Award. In 2014 at the World Congress of Breast Cancer she received the prestigious Pathfinder Lifetime Achievement Award, shared by breast cancer pioneer Professor Umberto Veronesi and others. Dr Lebovic also received the “Spirit of Achievement Award” from the American Cancer Society in recognition for her talents as a skilled clinician and a pioneer in medical innovation. Dr. Lebovic has held many leadership positions including Co-Director of USC Keck School of Medicine’s Breast Center and Director of Women’s Health at the Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas. She served as President of the American Society of Breast Disease and founded the Society of Oncoplastic Surgery. Currently, Dr. Lebovic is Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Innovations. She holds over 50 US patents and is a dedicated patient advocate committing much of her time to global educational projects improving outcomes in surgery and women’s health.
